Hate you, am replacing my Essex armies with yours, this is the first. Mr David CONSTABLE |
| Hi Dave
The latest order arrived safe and sound this morning. Thank you for the very prompt service on these last two orders - it is exceptional given that I live on the opposite side of the world to you! I am also very impressed with the sculpting on the figures. You'll definitely hear from me again soon, Thanks Nathan Ward |

Thanks Brendan. (Ireland) Dear Dave, You lied - you said "order by the weekend" and it came today! Seriously, good service, well done. As these are my first purchases from you, I thought you might like some feedback. I had long been familiar with the old QT "multi-part/pose" 25mm (whatever happened to them?), but being Ancients I'd never bought any. I first looked seriously at your 15mm Museum range at SELWG last year and was impressed (I'm one of these odd gamers who actually likes baggage trains - what can I say?). I notice that your figures are "big" 15s, which is good as they go well with the slightly more robust Essex and Roundway, are a match with Dixon, and don't tower too much over Hallmark. These purchases are for two WSS armies - Piedmontese and Bavarian - being built using Dixon, Essex, Hallmark and Roundway figures. The dogs - really liked them; I assume they are supposed to be Rottweillers (if so they are a good likeness), and will "escort" my Bavarian general with suitable affection/menace as appropriate. The horses really are cart horses, instead of recycled cavalry mounts - liked them too. Not sure about the oxen - they looked rather long in the body, but perhaps will "compress" when painted; also nicely sculpted. To be honest, that's the nearest I could find to a negative about any of the items. The carts and wagons are excellent, especially the large hay wagon - I don't think many manufacturers would have been dedicated enough to sculpt all that hay (I guess you get a lot of rainy afternoons up there!). I particularly liked the way you have sculpted the base units so that they can be used as a "flat bed" - that's the kind of thinking wargamers like! Be sure I shall be back for more of these as the regiments I'm building will be 60-70 figures typically, so each unit will come with its own baggage (but don't worry, I've got them booked in with a good therapist). The monks are very nice and will sit well with my two Catholic armies. As a Catholic myself, I naturally smiled at the presence of two versions of the "one true cross" in the pack. I plan to feature a monastery/convent among my buildings, so I may be back later for some nuns (do they double as Nazi paratroopers?). My only disappointment was the Pilgrims - I was going to use the mediaeval clothing to depict them as a line of criminals, but I was expecting something a little less martial (basically a pack of simpering civilians cowering in a corner of the battlefield). Never mind - I know several people with DBA armies who are always looking for something a little different. All in all, an excellent first "hit". Unfortunately, I don't game any of the periods that your main figure ranges cover (though your ECW Scots did make me tarry a wee while), but I shall certainly be coming back for wagons etc. I'm not yet sure how I will use it, but I'm quite taken with the palisade fencing - any plans to expand this (eg wattle panels, picket fencing, that sort of thing)? Sorry, that rambled on a bit, but I thought you'd like to know that you had made a good impression. Cheers Brendan Morrissey

Peter Bettany. (UK) Ordered Sunday night, here on Tuesday morning. |

Danny Wrigley (New Zealand) All troops reported fully equipped and awaiting full
uniforms. The tailors have been lashed for not providing the uniforms
early enough, but there productivity is rising dramatically. Happily
no-one has been reported AWOL, though one group of chain armoured
archers was located in an ambush position amongst the bubble wrap
and polystyrene bits. Thanx for the wonderful figures |

I also wanted to say I though the Museum Miniatures web site was the best of all the manufacturers I found on the web. And, along with the pictures of the figures, was the main motivator for purchasing from you. |

Peter Stone (Australia) Hi Dave, I have a few photos of Museum miniatures on my personal website, http://members.optusnet.com.au/~stonefamily Namely Arabs, plus some Chinese chariots (a little modified). Feel free to use any of those photos on your website, I only ask that you list me as the painter. Kind Regards, Peter Stone (Australia) |
